In the second part, some aspects relating to artistic processes will be explored, from an anthropological point of view. Different concepts of "art" and "cultural heritage" and examples of "translation" of objects and events produced in different societies will be examined. Within the course, a specific focus will be dedicated to Oceanian objects in museums. In the analysis of the museumization process, particular attention will be given to the point of view of the communities from which these objects come: if in some cases they have made requests for the return of the human remains of their ancestors, in others they have developed avant-garde shared heritage projects. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The course intends in the first part to provide some basic elements of anthropology also useful for the acquisition of 24 credits for the TIF. In the second part we will focus on the reading that the discipline gives the concept of cultural heritage in Western culture and on the visions that other companies may have of their heritage, analyzing different forms of expression in a comparative key. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES It is hoped that at the end of the course students will be able to face issues related to art with a new and comparative perspective.
