Special languages" (Cod. 65246, 2023/2024, 6 credits, L-LIN/21, 36 academic hours) aims at providing professianl training to students who have reached B1-B2 level. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The theoretical course provides students with in-depth knowledge in the field of specialized uses of the Russian language, in particular for business and tourism. The classes are supported by a series of practical exercises. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES The course is aimed at consolidating and deepening students' knowledge of Russian language on professional level (special languages). At the end of the course the student will be able to: understand special languages (oral and written texts) and interact on professional topics proposed in the course. manage a work situations with different cultural aspects using professional languages. PREREQUISITES Russian language level B 1 is required. TEACHING METHODS Classroom lectures in the second semester (36 academic hours) with the possible support of Aulaweb (Cod. 65246) . Personal and group reviews, group work as well as monitoring of the homework of attending students. Student participation is highly encouraged. SYLLABUS/CONTENT Special languages: definition and use. Commercial, touristic and medical special languages. Linguistic specificities. Cultural aspects. The program for both attending and non-attending students is the same.
