The corse "Russian. Special languages" (Cod. 65246, 2023/2024, 6 credits, L-LIN/21, 36 academic hours) aims at providing professianl training to students who have reached B1-B2 level.
The theoretical course provides students with in-depth knowledge in the field of specialized uses of the Russian language, in particular for business and tourism. The classes are supported by a series of practical exercises.
The course is aimed at consolidating and deepening students' knowledge of Russian language on professional level (special languages).
At the end of the course the student will be able to:
Russian language level B 1 is required.
Classroom lectures in the second semester (36 academic hours) with the possible support of Aulaweb (Cod. 65246) .
Personal and group reviews, group work as well as monitoring of the homework of attending students.
Student participation is highly encouraged.
Special languages: definition and use. Commercial, touristic and medical special languages. Linguistic specificities. Cultural aspects.
The program for both attending and non-attending students is the same.

RUSSIAN FOR SPECIAL PURPOSES
Oral exam (includes conversation on the glossary prepared by the student).
Conversation and interaction (using the glossary) on a topic at the student's choice. A simulation of a work situation, which will include the topics covered during the semester, will be carried out.
Students certified with SLD, disabilities or other special education needs are advised to contact the instructor at the beginning of the course, in order to agree on teaching and exam methods that, in compliance with the course learning outcomes, take into account individual learning methods and provide suitable compensatory tools.
