Russian I (SSD: L-LIN / 21; code: 55925; CFU: 9) includes two practical Russian language modules (taught by Prof. Ioulia Maklakova and Prof. Tuyana Dorzhieva) and a Theretical Module, with classes taught by Dr. Antonio Civardi in common with 55961 Russian Linguistics.
The aim of the course is to promote theoretical reflection on the Russian language. The teaching is structured as follows: a) Italian-Russian grammatical translation, b) Comprehension and production of the written text, c) Comprehension and production of the oral text, d) Language laboratory (film, audio-visual), e) Readings autonomous, f) Theoretical module.
The practical Russian language modules are aimed at developing and expanding the students' expressive skillsa, as well as their knowledge of contemporary Russian culture and society. The focus will be on verb aspect, verbs of motion and idioms in contemporary Russian. Special attention will be devoted to current Russian issues. The aim of the course is to complete the linguistic (level В2/C1 of the CEFR) and cultural preparation of future experts in Russian language and literature. At the end of the course the student will be able to:

The lessons of the theoretical module will take place in the second semester (3 hours per week), while the practical modules will take place both in the first and in the second semester (5 hours per week).
Attendance is free, but highly recommended.
The lessons will be supported by material provided via AulaWeb (course code 55925) and Teams.
The theoretical module, in addition to lectures, assumes group work as well as monitoring the work of attending students.

RUSSIAN LANGUAGE I

Practical modules (Lettorato): written
The exam at the end of the module and in subsequent sessions will focus on the specific topics covered during the course. During the exam of the theoretical module, the knowledge of the course contents will be verified. The exam will take into account not only the knowledge of the contents but also the familiarity of the examiner with the readings proposed during the lessons and with the materials made available on the platform The final grade of the Russian language course I LM is composed of 50% from the mark of the practical modules (Lettorato) exam and 50% from the oral one of the Theoretical Module.
To be admitted to the exam, students must present and discuss an essay orally, the topic of which must be agreed upon with one of the course teachers. Students who do not submit the paper within 15 days. before the date of the appeal, THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TAKE THE EXAM.
