The course aims to contribute to the achievement of the following Sustainable Development Goals of the UN 2030 Agenda: Goal 4. Provide quality, equitable and inclusive education and learning opportunities for all Goal 5. Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls Goal 16. Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development TEACHING METHODS Lectures with the support of digital technologies. The following modes will be used during the course: Flipped classrom, Task based learning, Cooperative learning and Collective reading. Group and individual work will be offered to students. The frequency will be monitored. SYLLABUS/CONTENT Littérature et Intermédialité: roman, cinéma et bande dessinée The course aims to approach the study of literature through the prism of intermediality and remediation, i.e. the passage of works from one medium to another. Some examples of intermedial transposition - from novel to film, to comic strip - of works that have become classics of contemporary French literature will be examined, as well as some examples of contemporary intermedial creation: novels that narrate films or are inspired by film aesthetics, hybridised writing projects. Topics that will be covered: 1. Forms of hybridity and intermediality in the literary sphere. 2. From graphic novel to film: Lulu femme nue 3. From novel to film to graphic novel: Zazie dans le métro 4. Literature and cinema: Hiroschima mon amour, Cinéma 5. Intermediary ecosystems: Ils ne sont rien dans mes larmes 6. Paths in Intermediality The syllabus is unique: all lectures will be recorded and all teaching materials will be made available to all students, so it is not deemed appropriate to distinguish the syllabus between frequent and non-attending students. ASSESSMENT METHODS The course includes an on going evaluation of the learners' productions of three exercises in group mode and one individual, and the preparation of a portfolio that will trace the learning path of each learner. Each of these activities aims to develop the learners' knowledge and skills and will be assessed individually, forming the basis for the final grade, which will be derived from the results of the in-class activities, an assessment of commitment and assiduity to the lessons and a final interview in which the learners will illustrate their portfolio highlighting the knowledge and skills acquired.
