The course deals with the transfusion practice.
Aim of the course is to provide the students with the tools necessary to the knowledge of transfusion practice.
Classroom-taught lecture
Blood donation and collection, autologous blood donation and transfusion, clinical consideration in transfusion practice,transfusion transmitted disease, hemolytic anemia, neonatal hemolytic anemia.
Lectures notes will be made available to all students during the course. Deccomanded textbook: Technical Manual (fifteenth edition) AABB American Association Blood Bank.
