OVERVIEW

The teaching of Fundamentals of Process Engineering intends to provide the tools necessary for an in-depth study of the phenomena underlying transformation processes in chemical engineering. In particular, both the basics and applications to the processes of chemical thermodynamics applied to non-ideal systems reacting or interested in phase equilibria (module of the first semester), and the fundamentals of transport phenomena at the local level with the related applications to cases of interest in process engineering (second semester module) will be presented.

PREREQUISITES

For a successful learning basic knowledge of mathematics, chemistry and physics are required, but no formal propaedeuticity is provided.
