OVERVIEW

The course offers the student a broad knowledge of the structure and legislation that regulates the clinical study by deepening the planning, management, analysis and reporting.
The course teaches the methodological, ethical, integrity and relevance of clinical trials in Italy and in the countries of the international community.

Classify clinical trials; Know the areas of use of the trial variants; Know the determinants of the quality of clinical trials and assessment tools; Learn methodologies and tools for planning, conducting and analyzing clinical trials; Regulations governing clinical trial planning.

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

Classification of clinical trials
Identify the areas of use of the trial variants
Identify the main sources of bias in clinical trials and prepare adequate prevention tools
Know the determinants of clinical trial quality and evaluation tools
Learn methodologies and tools for planning, conducting and analyzing trials: from formulating the research question to interpreting the results
statistical processing of data
