To understand the theoretical principles of DC-DC converters. To understand the theoretical principles of DC-AC converters. To solve problems regarding the proposed converters. SYLLABUS/CONTENT Basic components of power electronics (diodes, thyristors and transistors). Diode rectifiers (single diode rectifier, single-phase diode rectifier, three-phase diode rectifier). DC-DC converters (buck, boost, buck-boost, half H-bridge, H-bridge). DC-AC converters (single-phase inverter, three-phase inverter, NPC, series of H-bridges).
