The course aims to promote the acquisition of knowledge and skills useful for psychological assessment.
The course provides future psychologists with theoretical knowledge and practical skills for assessing psychological development. Additionally, this course allows students to learn how to use specific assessment tools (developmental and intelligence scales).
At the end of the course, students are expected to: - Be able to describe the different types of assessment tools - Be able to use test batteries (the Bayley-III scale and the WISC-V scale and another type of instrument chosen by the student) - Know how to approach to new tools useful for psychological evaluation

- WISC-IV scale
- other tools

The exam includes a written test, a practical test and a presentation. The written test must be taken first and passing it is binding to continue the exam.
The exam includes different methods in order to evaluate: - the acquisition of knowledge - the acquisition of skills with respect to the use of specific tools - the acquisition of knowledge and skills useful for identifying techniques and tools, evaluating them and knowing how to use them
Students are invited to register in the page of this course on AulaWeb (the e-learning portal of our university) and visit that page from time to time.
Students with DSA, disability or other special educational needs or International Student are recommended to email the teacher at the beginning of the course, in order to organize teaching and assessment, taking in account both the class aims and the student's needs and providing suitable compensatory instruments.
