AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES Good knowledge of the theoretical contributions and ability to apply the techniques of estimation of the economic and social impact, cost-benefit analysis and complex network theory to the transport sector. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES Classes aim at developing a critical analysis of main features of the planning, project and managing stages of transport infrastructure. Moreover, students will be able to identify the economic and social effects of transport infrastructure both at national and regional scale. Students will be able to conduct the assessment of an infrastructural projects. Students who voluntarily participate in COIL with Florida International University (FIU) will develop advanced literacy, personal, learning-to-learn and social skills. PREREQUISITES Basic knowledge of macro and microeconomics TEACHING METHODS Lectures, seminars, discussion of case studies. Lessons will be in person. Participation in COIL (on a voluntary basis) will enable students to work on advanced literacy, social, personal and learning-to-learn skills.
