AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The course introduces the knowledge of corporate lending and private banking. Students will deepen credit risk management issues, balance sheet analysis, corporate valuation, and the features of financial services to businesses as well as to high net worth individuals with complex needs AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES The main objectives of the course are: to understand the articulation of corporate and private banking activities; deepen the phases of the corporate financing process; illustrate the characteristics of the different methods of financing companies according to the phase of the life cycle they pass through; analyze and evaluate companies in view of a financing transaction; understand how project finance operations work; illustrate financial services for investors with high availability and complex financial needs. At the end of the course, students will be able to: - identify the financing methods most suitable for meeting the financial needs of a company - evaluate the conditions of profitability, liquidity, solvency and solidity of a company, assuming the perspective of a potential investor - present a company to potential investors - identify the financial instruments that satisfy the complex needs of "private" customers PREREQUISITES Knowledge related to the Economics of Financial Intermediaries course is a highly recommended requirement.
