Consequently, it is useful to have adequate knowledge to be able to learn the use of different applications. In this sense, the course aims to introduce students to the logic characterising accounting applications by illustrating the procedures of a specific Enterprise Resource Planning system. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The course aims to provide students with the basic knowledge and skills for using the key features of the Onda iQ Vision accounting software, produced by Edisoftware and used mainly in the SME environment. In this perspective the course aims at making the student able both to translate the main business operations into Onda iQ Vision and to carry out the reporting activities. PREREQUISITES No prerequisites TEACHING METHODS The teaching activity will take place in the IT room through traditional lectures, based on the illustration of software procedures, practical simulations and exercises. The course may be attended by a maximum of 24 students. SYLLABUS/CONTENT The course focuses on a series of demonstrations and simulations (mainly operational), aimed at responding to primary accounting needs of companies. The lessons will concern: the management of chart of accounts and registry file and archives; the book-keeping entry (credit entry, debit entry); the revenue cycle; the purchasing cycle; the activities concerning annual closing and balance sheet and related reporting activities. RECOMMENDED READING/BIBLIOGRAPHY The material prepared by the teacher (used in class and the support material provided by the software house) will be available through Aulaweb and will be used for the preparation of the exam. In the practical test, the student will have to carry out a series of operations into the Onda iQ Vision software.
