The course offers the student the opportunity to understand and fit into the context of the engineering profession by providing an initial experience of engineering professional activities. Attention is paid to the areas of competence of the engineer, the foundations of professional legislation, the Board of Professional Engineers and its functions, the forms and taxation of the profession of engineer and professional ethics.

Attention is paid to the areas of engineer's competence, the foundations of professional legislation, the Order of Engineers and its functions, the forms and taxation of the exercise of the engineering profession, and the ethics and deontology of the engineering profession.
The course Engineering Profession is designed for students of the Bachelor in Management Engineering to understand the role and forms of the engineering profession. The objective is to learn about the engineering activities and the legal, fiscal and ethical aspects of the professional engineering. The course Engineering Profession provides an overview of the different activities to which an engineer is called in the exercise of the profession through the analysis of specific cases and direct contact with professionals.
