OVERVIEW

It is an important activity that aims to integrate what has been learned both at an academic and experiential level to progressively prepare the student to become a health professional. The activities chosen by the student are identified in relation to the educational objectives relating to the year of the course.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

The training objective is to integrate the theoretical and clinical personal experience with the best scientific evidence available.

The presence of experts, connoisseurs of the subject, allows to deepen, integrate, update what has been learned in the three years.

In relation to the course year, in-depth studies of the program are identified, both through participation in conferences and / or study days, and through meetings activated specifically for students.

The training objectives that are set are:

integrate theoretical and personal clinical experience with the best available scientific evidence

get in touch with experts and connoisseurs of the subject, to deepen, integrate, update what has been learned in the three-year period

enhance skills and abilities such as placement in an employment context, synthesis and analysis skills, to manage complex clinical cases and problem solving.

TEACHING METHODS

Frontal and interactive lessons

Lessons take place during the academic year both face to face and with individual / group laboratory activities and role-play. At the discretion of the teacher, classroom exercises may be proposed during the course. The training course can be supplemented by meetings with professionals belonging to different organizational contexts, with the use of paper and audio / video documentary material. External visits may be proposed.

The different types of Elective Didactic Activities aim to make the student acquire knowledge, skills and abilities relating to the study of pathologies, the evaluation and treatment of the patient, insertion into an occupational context, the national and international physiotherapy reality.

By attending conferences, seminars, workshops and participation in internships and internships at public bodies and affiliated companies, students can deepen the knowledge useful for entering the world of work and profession.
