The course is divided into modules, each of which contains teaching units consist of videolessons, from transparencies files and exercises. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The course consists of a selection of the most relevant topics for students of health and nursing professions. It will bring students to face the problems in a quantitative approach. It requires the student to follow the online classes, understand the arguments of the related slides and resolve preparedness exercises and self-assessment. Students can improve the ability to solve simple physics exercises by following the lessons in streaming. Educational objectives according to the Dublin Descriptors: 2 (Knowledge and understanding applied) AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES The student must learn the main elements of the rotational mechanical elasticity of the bodies with particular reference to topics of greatest importance for students to study courses in Life Sciences. Students will learn how to relate the topics of lectures on the AulaWeb site with the ability to solve simple physical exercises. For this purpose they are provided numerous application examples and exercises. You will be able to know how to apply mathematical and geometric knowledge to the proposed physical problems. The student will have to overcome the self-assessment tests in order to achieve the "badge" that allows you to take the examination. Only the ability to correctly interpret the claims submitted in the form of numerical exercises and / or quizzes can assure the student that you understand the topics of lectures. The student must acquire the ability to understand and correlate rather than relying only mnemonic acquisition. TEACHING METHODS The course is on-line available in the AulaWeb site with the lessons and slides used in the online lessons, exercises, and self-assessment tests. The students are awarded a badge after completing the vision of teaching units and completed all the self-assessment tests. SYLLABUS/CONTENT The course is divided into the following modules: Module 1: Statics of Rigid Body Module 2: The levers Module 3: The center of gravity Module 4: Angular momentum and moment of inertia Module 5: Dynamics of the rigid body Guided exercises and final self-assessment. RECOMMENDED READING/BIBLIOGRAPHY It is recommended to complete the study using the many websites on the internet and simulations on the American Universities sites. Recommended books for more information: M.Celasco - Outlines of Physics - ECIG D.Scannicchio-E.Giroletti - Elements of Physics Biomedical - EdiSES C.Oomens, M.Brekelmans, F.Baaijens - Biomechanics, Concepts and Computation Cambridge University Press M.Celasco, D.Panzieri - 2000 Physics - ECIG Problems Google Traduttore per il Business:Translator ToolkitTraduttore di siti webStrumento a supporto dell'export TEACHERS AND EXAM BOARD GIOVANNI RIDOLFI Ricevimento: The students may contact the teacher at any time, for discussions, clarifications of the lectures, suggestions for the solution of problems. A preliminary contact via e-mail is suggested. LESSONS LESSONS START The lessons are presented on AulaWeb site since the first week of November. They are published on a weekly basis. Students can access the lessons after completing the on-line rate of the previous topics. Class schedule MECHANICS OF RIGID BODIES EXAMS EXAM DESCRIPTION The examination requires the correct answer to 10 quizzes that the student must complete in twenty minutes. The student who has passed the written test with at least sufficiency may ask to take an additional oral exam. ASSESSMENT METHODS Students must have a "badge" to be eligible to take the written exam in the form of a quiz test. The achievement is next to having passed the tests for self-assessment, which help the student to evaluate the opportunity to take the exam. FURTHER INFORMATION The written exam must be sustained without consulting any documentation, written or digital. It is not allowed during the examination use phone or tablet; it is recommended to bring the calculator. The student must report on the examination sheet all calculations necessary to the quiz solution.
