AIMS AND CONTENT

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course aims to provide students with the knowledge relating to the anatomy of the visual system, which represents one of the basic knowledge in carrying out clinical practice.
In particular, the course aims to provide the student with an understanding of the macro and microscopic organization and the topographical relationships between the various structures that make up the visual system. The aim is also to provide the anatomical basis for understanding the physiological mechanisms of the eye.

TEACHING METHODS

The course includes 20 hours of frontal lessons, during which the teacher will make use of slides, as well as videos with anatomical dissection of the ocular structures. All the visual material will be available to the student even in off-line mode
