AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The course has, as main purposes, the acquisition of scientific-epistemological knowledges related to General Pedagogy, with a particular attention to logics, contents and languages through which the research dimension of this science is organized. For the Course of "Laurea Magistrale in Scienze della Formazione Primaria", the specific objectives of the Kindergarten School consist in a deepening of the pedagogical practices, with a particular attention to the educational and formational dimensions involved in the first years of life. The specific objectives of the Primary School consist in an investigation focused on the relation between training and schooling, such as education, teaching and learning. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES Master's Course in "Scienze della Formazione Primaria" The acquisition of appropriate knowledges in order to recognize the epistemological criteria of General Pedagogy is finalized to improve the process of comprehension regarding the problematic correlation between theory and practice in pedagogy. A deep elaboration of the knowledges is finalized to improve processes of thinking useful in addressing problems regarding self formation, education and cultural instruction. Bachelor's Course in "Scienze dell'Educazione e della Formazione" The acquisition of appropriate knowledges in order to recognize the epistemological criteria of General Pedagogy is finalized to improve the process of comprehension regarding the problematic correlation between theory and practice in pedagogy. This in order to also achieve a deep knowledge regarding the categorical structure of pedagogy and the necessary semantic skills to operate within the pedagogical framework. TEACHING METHODS Lessons are conducted in the presence of the teacher and have mainly character of lectures. Within the course, group activities and seminars can be provided. SYLLABUS/CONTENT The program of the Course will consist, mainly, in the following contents: the fundamental questions of epistemological debate in pedagogy; the topics of the contemporary pedagogical debate; the organic structure of the pedagogical discourse; the problem of Bildung and its origins. According to the "Sustainable Development Goals" established by the UN Agenda 2030, the Teaching is specifically committed to the promotion of "Goal 4. Class schedule GENERAL PEDAGOGY II EXAMS EXAM DESCRIPTION Exam is written. The written exam is finalized to verify acquired knowledge by the Students and their critical capabilities in the elaboration of the learned contents. Evaluation criteria: relevance of contents, argumentation of acquired knowledge, logical coherence, language properties, critical-problematic ability. The exams take place at the Department of Scienze della Formazione (Genoa, Corso A. Podestà, 2). The classroom, assigned by the office, will be indicated both on the University portal "Easyacademy" and on the screens at the entrance to the Department, on the day of the exam. ASSESSMENT METHODS The written exam, lasting 60 minutes, is organized into a small number of open questions. During the course of the examination, students can consult books in the program. Students have to attend the exam with the program of the current academic year in, even if they are enrolled in previous academic years. In the case of insufficient results, students will have to attend the exam again in the same manner. The referent (Prof. Laura Traverso) will confirm to the professor that the applicant has the right to request adaptations for the exam and that such adaptations must be agreed upon with the professor. The professor will respond by communicating whether it is possible to use the requested adaptations.
