CODE 67727 ACADEMIC YEAR 2024/2025 CREDITS 9 cfu anno 5 SCIENZE DELLA FORMAZIONE PRIMARIA 9322 (LM-85 bis) - GENOVA SCIENTIFIC DISCIPLINARY SECTOR M-PSI/04 LANGUAGE Italian TEACHING LOCATION GENOVA MODULES Questo insegnamento è composto da: DISABILITY PSYCHOLOGY DISABILITY PSYCHOLOGY (WORKSHOP) TEACHING MATERIALS AULAWEB OVERVIEW The main objective of the course is to contribute to the training of future teachers by providing skills in the field of the main developmental disorders. The workshop allows experimenting some working strategies with disabilities in the process of school inclusion. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The course aims to introduce the concepts of disability, developmental disorders, inclusion and to deal with the issue of atypical development especially in relation to the school context. It also aims to provide tools for planning inclusive courses and designing Individualized Educational Plans functional to didactic work and consistent with current regulations. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES The teaching allows students to gain theoretical knowledge on atypical development and face situations with a scientific, inclusive, non-judgmental attitude. The attendance of the whorkshop allows to read a clinical diagnosis and an ICF-based protocol and be able to describe the areas of interest in the structuring of the Individual Plan. PREREQUISITES Basic knowledge of typical development TEACHING METHODS At present, it is not yet known with certainty whether the course will be held in full or in part in the presence. The structure of the course and the teaching methods will in any case be the same, even if using the different means available in the classroom or remotely. Lessons are held in a participatory way, alternating short interventions by the teacher with discussions, watching videos, individual and group exercises. During the workshop, students can experience professional skills and practice with the proposed technologies and materials. For non-attending students, the assessment will be oral.
