OVERVIEW

Adapted physical activities - Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

The course is structured taking into account principles for adapted physical activity in internal pathologies and neurodegenerative diseases by comparing training models of adapted physical activity and rehabilitation.

AIMS AND CONTENT

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

Acquire and improve knowledge on subjects evaluation in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation and adapted physical activity with self reported ouctome measure, validated clinical scales and, when needed, by using instrumental evaluation such as computerized dynamic stabilometry.

Acquire and improve knowledge on individualized rehabilitation plan and on personalized training for adapted physical activities in internal pathologies.

Acquire and improve knowledge on complementarity among physical medicine and rehabilitation and adapted physical activities.

TEACHING METHODS

Lectures and educational examples to be commented.

Any Student with documented Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), or with any special needs, should contact the Lecturer(s) and to the dedicated SLD Representative in the Department before class begins, in order to liaise and arrange the specific teaching methods so that the learning aims and outcomes may be met.

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

Internal pathologies and physical medicine and rehabilitation and adapted physical activity

Outcome measures: patient reported outcome

Outcome measures: healthcare reported outcome
