The teaching aims to:
- deepen knowledge on the main pathological conditions of the age of growth,
- classify the problems both from the point of view of etiology (congenital, connatal and acquired diseases) which, from the point of view of age (early childhood, second childhood, adolescence),
- highlight of each problem the characteristics of greater adherence to the professional profile of the student, in the light of the general knowledge acquired so far.
To present to students the main problems and pathologies of the developmental age, distinguishing and deepening:
- the main congenital and connatal diseases
- spinal pathologies and related principles of chiensiological treatment
- the main pathologies of the limbs in reference to the main stages of motor development
Lectures with the support of slides, interactive discussion, ongoing tests of truth.
Any Student with documented Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), or with any special needs, should contact the Lecturer(s) and to the dedicated SLD Representative in the Department before class begins, in order to liaise and arrange the specific teaching methods so that the learning aims and outcomes may be met.
