AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

Knowledge of the various types of sports organizations

Evaluation of the main similarities and differences between the world of work and the world of sport (for example between work groups and sports teams).

TEACHING METHODS

Frontal lessons and collective discussion.

Any Student with documented Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), or with any special needs, should contact the Lecturer(s) and to the dedicated SLD Representative in the Department before class begins, in order to liaise and arrange the specific teaching methods so that the learning aims and outcomes may be met.

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

Connection between person and work and person and organization (motivational processes of organized work in the profit and non-profit contexts of sport, in the field of physical exercise and free time).

Work experience and performance (types of tasks, relationship between time and work, safety in the workplace, stress and quality of work, job satisfaction).
