CODE 80891 ACADEMIC YEAR 2024/2025 CREDITS 3 cfu anno 2 SCIENZE E TECNICHE DELLO SPORT 8749 (LM-68) - GENOVA SCIENTIFIC DISCIPLINARY SECTOR M-EDF/02 TEACHING LOCATION GENOVA SEMESTER 1° Semester MODULES Questo insegnamento è un modulo di: TECHNICAL ASPECTS OF PERFORMANCE SPORTS (PART. 1) TEACHING MATERIALS AULAWEB OVERVIEW The teaching of sports science and techniques for the disabled provides the students with the masterly knowledge and skills to carry out motor and sports activities in the disability. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES At the end of the course the student acquires the teaching techniques and tools for the management of sports activities with people in a situation of disability and knows the various types of deficits: physical, intellectual and relational, sensory. In particular, the student, assessing its importance, acquires a greater level of emotional awareness, a fundamental aspect in the management of relational dynamics with people with disabilities. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES The student learns the different communication techniques aimed at managing the activities also through the presence of a part of theoretical intervention to be carried out in the classroom and a part of practical intervention to be carried out in the gym. Moreover, the student knows and acquires the various methodologies of sporting activities, adapted and not, and the following unstructured activities: objectives, planning and programming, method of conducting unstructured situations, contents, evaluation. Finally, the student knows the rules and is able to use and adapt the teaching methodology of team play in different situations of deficit, also through appropriate management of motor interventions with people with disabilities, paying particular attention to the dynamics of relationship and communication in the conduct of motor interventions aimed at people with a deficit (mental, physical and sensorial). The student is therefore able to plan, conduct and manage programs of sports and motor activity adapted, identifying integration as the primary objective of all interventions aimed at people with disabilities and socio-affective empowerment as a tool to give motivation to be promoters of their own well-being. TEACHING METHODS Frontal lessons and laboratory activity. Educational visits in specialized facilities. Seminars with experts in the field of disability and/or disabled athletes. Students with valid certifications for Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), disabilities, or other educational needs are encouraged to contact the instructor and the disability coordinator of the School/Department at the beginning of the course. Together, they can agree on personalized teaching methods that, while respecting the objectives of the course, take into account individual learning needs and styles.
