AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

The internship will be characterized by in-depth analysis of aspects of managerial, economic and legislative training in the healthcare sector. Space will also be given to research training and the development of pedagogical and training skills, as a prerequisite for a possible university teaching career. The aspect of cooperation with other professional and administrative figures interested in the organization of health bodies and/or universities will also be taken care of

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • Analyze complex educational, organizational and healthcare problems in the diagnostic field through observation and study tools built using the knowledge acquired in theoretical training
  • Set up and carry out, with correct and appropriate methodology, a research activity with particular attention to the effects on management/assistance and training activities.
  • At the end of the course, acquire an advanced cultural and professional training to intervene with high skills in the management, training and research processes in the whole of the health professions pertaining to the class (technical-diagnostic area: audiometrist technician, biomedical laboratory health technician, technician health care of biomedical radiology, neurophysiopathology technician).

TEACHING METHODS

Various preparatory meetings, some aimed at everyone, others individual.

The Internship is designed by the Director of didactic activities and the locations are identified, after consultation with the student, in the Directorates of the Health Professions, in the Training Centers and in other Healthcare Facilities / and Diagnostic Services located throughout the region consistent with the objectives of the CDLM .

Students with documented Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), or with any special needs, shall reach out to the Lecturer(s) and to the dedicated SLD Representative in the Department before class begins, in order to arrange the specific teaching methods and ensure proper achievement of the learning aims and outcomes.

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

The second part of the internship is dedicated to the application, verification and in-depth study of the contents of the theoretical courses in the workplace.

  • organization, planning, management and control of health technical-diagnostic activities
  • analysis of organizational contexts
  • search
  • planning of improvement interventions and management of a reward system
  • management of human, structural and technological resources
  • continuous training and curricular training.

EXAM DESCRIPTION

At the end, the student must produce a project work of the activity carried out which will be presented and discussed in the classroom with the internship teacher, with the Director of didactic activities, I am the Director of professional activities and the students. The student, discussing the project, must demonstrate his / her skills in terms of evaluation, feasibility, responsibility, management of economic and human resources and anything else pertaining to the profile of the master's degree in the health professions

The evaluation takes place through the presentation of a written report (project work of the activity carried out) which is summarized in a short presentation in power point format and discussed in the classroom with the internship teacher, the course president, the director of professional activities and of the internship tutor and in the presence of the students of the course. The drafted project work which, in any case, will have to maintain its compute, can be further expanded, deepened and used for a subsequent thesis study.

 If the student does not demonstrate that he has acquired the skills related to the objectives of the internship, the exam will not be evaluated as sufficient

During the exam, the rules regarding the assessment method of DSA certified students or students with other educational needs indicated by the university will be respected. (e.g.: additional time in the case of written exams, use of concept maps to be viewed for approval by the teachers at least one week before the exam date).
