Active participation in the laboratory will enable the student to learn about and describe the main tools for:
Activities in the computer lab.
Use of spreadsheets
Creation of tables and databases for managing and analyzing research data
Extraction of relevant statistical descriptors
Data processing and analysis: correlation measures and statistical significance analysis
File operations and scripting
Computer tools for bibliographic research in the technical-scientific field and bibliography management
Computer tools for graphical representation of data and dissemination of results
Ricevimento: The lecturer is available by appointment, either in person at the University Department (DINOGMI, Neurological Clinic) or onine (for example, via Teams or Meet).

Exercise on spreadsheet and/or multiple-choice test and open-ended questions. Students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) or other certified special educational needs can arrange an alternative exam modality by contacting Professors Costagli and Girtler at least 10 days before the exam.
The exam will cover the topics discussed in class and will assess the student's ability to use computer tools in the context of a practical example. Students who do not achieve a score on the test of at least 18 points out of 30 will not pass the exam.
