CODE 60220 ACADEMIC YEAR 2024/2025 CREDITS 6 cfu anno 2 INGEGNERIA MECCANICA 8720 (L-9) - GENOVA SCIENTIFIC DISCIPLINARY SECTOR ING-IND/09 LANGUAGE Italian TEACHING LOCATION GENOVA SEMESTER 2° Semester TEACHING MATERIALS AULAWEB OVERVIEW The main goal of this course is the explaination of the development of energy systems based on fossil fuels, nuclear fuels and RES. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The course presents the Energy systems field starting from the already students available thermodynamic knowledge. The main goal of the course is to give the capability to the student to understand and to evaluate in a preliminary way the energy systems performance, including general energy related aspects such as energy resources, environment protection, etc. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES The students will be capable to understand the different energy systems, their main aspects related to the energy transition PREREQUISITES Thermodynamic, Chemistry TEACHING METHODS Lectures and integrative activities SYLLABUS/CONTENT Worldwide and in Italy energy consumption; the different available energies. 19/06/2025 14:30 GENOVA Orale 28/07/2025 09:00 GENOVA Orale 26/08/2025 14:00 GENOVA Orale 19/01/2026 09:00 GENOVA Orale 16/02/2026 09:00 GENOVA Orale FURTHER INFORMATION Pre-requisites : Physics; Applied Physics, Chemistry
