The course presents the fundamental law of mechanics and electromagnetism in the vacuum and provides the necessary concepts for their understanding.
At the end of the course, students should be capable of developing models to solve simple problems, also thanks to the instruments learned in the calculus and geometry courses.

Written and oral test. For specific rules, see the document published on Aulaweb:
https://2021.aulaweb.unige.it/course/view.php?id=2013
The written exam will evaluate the student's ability to solve simple exercises, verifying the ability to model the proposed situation through the knowledge gained, in order to reach an analytical solution of the same. The papers will be evaluated taking into account the correctness of the solution and the justification of the different steps. The oral exam will allow to evaluate the student's ability to critically discuss a physics problem proposed by the teacher, with particular emphasis on modeling and abstraction skills.
