The aim of the course is to provide the basic elements of integral calculus, of differential calculus in several variables and of the theory of ordinary differential equations.
The unit provides an introduction to integral calculus, to series, to ordinary differential equations and to the theory of functions of several variables
The main expected learning outcomes are:
- the knowledge of the analytic and geometreic meaning of integral calculus;
- the knowledge of the basic tools of differential calculus in several variables;
- the knowledge of the basic methods of solving ordinary differential equations;
- the ability to solve simple exercises.

Lessons start when second semester starts.
The exam consists of a written part and optional oral test. Students must register for the written part at least 7 days before the written exam using the online registration page for UNIGE exams.
Written part: this part consists of a multi answers test and/or a part with open questions and exercises.
Optional oral test is aimed at verufdying the logical reasoning attitude and the knowledge od theorems and proofs presented during the course.
On the AulaWeb page of the course you can find the text of the previous written exams and lists of exercises.
