Main topics include: classification and description of folds and faults, introduction to kynematic indicators and shear zones, stress modeling, strain analysis, geodynamics and structures, elements of regional tectonics, transport and sedimentation processes, sedimentary structures, tectonically controlled sedimentary basins. PREREQUISITES The basic knowledge supplied by Fisica 1 and Geologia 1 courses are mandatory. The oral test consists in answering the questions asked by teachers on topics dealt with during the course. The final grade is given by the weighted average between the pratical and the oral tests.
