The course (6 ECTS) is taught in Semester 2 by Dr. Laura Sanfelici. Linguistica Spagnola is equivalent to the Linguistic Module of Lingua Spagnola I LM 55926. Six hours will be devoted to the creation of an additional teaching unit through subtitling.
The aim of the course is to provide the theoretical and methodological foundation for the use of the audio-visual support in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. The course will be taught in Spanish.

Expected results:
At the end of the course the student will be able to autonomously develop original exercises and activities for a Spanish for Foreign Learners Guide. The student will be also able to develop a syllabus.
The audiovisual material - movies, short films among others - will be analyzed and will constitute the starting material for the elaboration of the teaching material. In this phase the students will be the protagonists of the classroom and will propose the activities to the professor and their classmates.

Students attending 70% of the hours specified in the curriculum will be evaluated during the course, through the development of lecture materials, teachers guides, with a commentary based on the recommended bibliography.
Non attending students will take the exam in the official exam dates. They are kindly requested to email professor Sanfelici at the beginning of the course or at least one month before taking the exam.

Grading will take into account familiarity with the contents of the bibliographical references and the ability to apply them both in terms of critical reflection and application.
Correction and adequacy of academic writing in Spanish will also be taken into account.
