At the end of the course, you will have to:
• Know the principles of training, the nomenclature relating to movement and the skills characterizing the motor task
• Apply the workouts according to the objectives to be achieved and the subjects under consideration
• Critically evaluate the motor patterns of the subjects under examination
• Compare different training methods aimed at weight loss
• Cassify the motor skills that characterize a workout
• Describe analytically the methodologies used for the different age groups
• Explain and know the different modes of functional assessment in sport
theoretical lesson in the classroom
Any Student with documented Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), or with any special needs, shall reach out to the Lecturer(s) and to the dedicated SLD Representative in the Department before class begins, in order to liase and arrange the specific teaching methods and ensure proper achievement of the learning aims and outcomes.

The exam will verify the acquisition of the basic knowledge of the teaching. The questions will allow to: know the professional terminology and the fundamental theoretical elements related to motor activities; know the basic elements of planning and conducting a workout aimed at weight loss; adapt the training protocols according to: type of subjects, time, space, purpose and objectives.
In case of certification of specific learning disability, disability or other special educational needs, please contact both the Department contact person, Prof. Nicola Girtler, and the lecturer at the beginning of the lectures to agree on teaching and exam methods which, in compliance of the teaching objectives, take into account individual learning methods and provide suitable compensatory/dispensatory tools recognized by the University SLD Student Service.
