The present course is organised into two module. The first one "Hydrology" introduces the contents of advanced hydrologic modelling focusing on the frequency analysis of extreme events (storm and flood), distributed and semi-distributed hydrological models and event-based modelling; the second one "Watershed management" provides interpretative and predictive tools specific to engineering analysis, design and management of ideas, projects and systems in the field of water resource.
There are no specific prerequisites, if not the basic knowledge of mathematics and physics.
