OVERVIEW

Integrated teaching of four modules: Landscape Architecture, Spatial Planning, Estimate, Administrative Law

This teaching unit deals with the territorial project with the tools and methods of disciplines which collaborate in the analysis, in the definition of scenarios and intervention strategies, in the elaboration and evaluation of proposals. The application to a case study of exemplary value aims to simulate a real design process that identifies opportunities and resources for a new development starting from the interpretation of the urban and territorial context.

AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

The fundamental objective is to train the future architect to consider the multiple implications of the project and to deal with the specialisms that contribute to it.

PREREQUISITES

Requirements:

  • command in the use of software for graphic and cartographic processing (eg: AutoCAD and Photoshop), for data management (Excel), for the compilation of texts (Word),
  • knowledge of the theoretical bases of urban planning and basic notions of urban planning tools (territorial and urban planning, sector planning),
  • knowledge of the theoretical and operational tools for estimating the costs of interventions at the building and urban scale and of market values,

EXAM DESCRIPTION

The exam is unique and takes place in oral form.

Some modules, which require to check the learning of general and theoretical contents, include intermediate written tests whose results will be taken into consideration for the final evaluation.

To access the exam, the student must have passed the intermediate tests and completed the common exercise.
