The course aims at introducing students to the main issues of organizational design, human resources management, and organizational behavior with regard to shipping and logistics companies. LEARNING OUTCOMES

The aim of the course is to provide students with the fundamental theoretical - interpretative keys and the basic tools for analyzing organizational dynamics, human resources management and organizational behavior in maritime transport companies.

PREREQUISITES

No prerequistes are requested, excluding business fundamentals

TEACHING METHODS

The course is taught in Italian. Foreign students are invited to contact the instructor so to find appropriate references in order to focus the most relevant topics.

• Organizational change

• Human resources management: issues, processes and tools
• People in organizations: job and role
• Organizational knowledge and internal communication
• Motivation and organizational performance
• Leadership and teamwork

RECOMMENDED READING/BIBLIOGRAPHY

No textbooks referring to the sectors covered by the course are available. Materials and suggested supports will then be delivered.
