The course of Economic Analysis provides some advanced topics of microeconomics and macroeconomics.
The course of Economic Analysis is divided into two distinct teaching modules. The first is entitled Microeconomics and it aims at providing the theoretical tools that allow students to understand the logic underlying the microeconomic choices made by different economic agents, even in contexts of strategic interaction. The second module is instead entitled Macroeconomics and its objective is to illustrate the main economic models that describe the behaviour of firms regarding the level of productive investments undertaken, the occurrence of financial crises as well as the explanation of the monetary policies implemented by the central bank.
Students who have valid certification of physical or learning disabilities and who wish to discuss possible accommodations or other circumstances regarding lectures, coursework and exams, should speak both with the instructor and with Professor Elena Lagomarsino elena.lagomarsino@unige.it, the Department's disability liaison.
