LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course proposes to introduce the main theoretical concepts and the main research topics concerning social inequalities and contemporary social protection systems. The primary objective is to offer students of the psychology course the necessary tools to understand the social and institutional context in which they will find themselves working. Specifically, the course will be divided into two specific parts. 1. The first part will focus on the analysis of the main transformations involving contemporary societies. In particular, we will study the demographic, working and family-related transformations and ways of living together. 2.
