OVERVIEW

The teaching describes the scientific premise of the music therapy approach, illustrates the main theoretical guidelines and psychiatric application techniques, proposes laboratory contexts where experimenting with the musical dimension interaction

AIMS AND CONTENT

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

Understanding the biological foundations of sound-musical skills and the role they play in the individual maturation path

To acquire awareness of cultural and subjective ways of interacting with the music

Acquiring awareness of emotional potential and cognitive activation inherent in musical experience

Acquiring effective communication skills compared to untreated discipline (of language)

Acquiring skills in applying knowledge with judgment autonomy

TEACHING METHODS

Frontal lectures with visual support, self-centered group with audio support

 

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

Scientific background, theoretical models, techniques used, the size of parasemantica music, improvisation in music and in music therapy

Knowledge of topics, language ownership, personal re-elaboration of the topics discussed will be taken into account.

Application of knowledge in psychiatric rehabilitation
