OVERVIEW

The course consists of two modules (Module 1 and Module 2). The first module (Module 1) will provide the basic knowledge necessary for understanding the operation of the main separation equipment (humidification, absorption, drying, distillation, etc.) and reaction equipment (reactors for conducting homogeneous and catalytic - homogeneous and heterogeneous - chemical reactions).

The second module (Module 2) will provide the theoretical foundations on fluid motion and transport, knowledge of the main components for the construction of plant circuits, and the fundamentals of some physical separation processes (sedimentation, filtration, membrane processes). To develop skills, practical laboratory examples and exercises will be conducted, aiming to develop the ability to conduct experiments in groups and write reports on laboratory activities.
