OVERVIEW

Elective Educational Activity (ADE) falls within the scope of the mandatory training activities provided by the new academic regulations of the Degree Courses (Official Gazette no. 128 of June 5, 2001).
The type of elective educational activity (ADE) can be very diverse and may include monographic courses, interactive seminars, extracurricular internships, attendance at clinics or hospital facilities, stays at other European universities, participation in research projects, and laboratory attendance.
The study program provides for the acquisition of two CFU per year of course, for a total of six CFU.

AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Acquire knowledge relating to the subjects covered by the degree course, through participation in in-depth activities organised by the Degree Course teachers or in training and refresher courses in person or via FAD approved by the Degree Course President.

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

The possible ADE directions identified are as follows:

  • The student freely chooses the ADEs that best match their professional and cultural interests, provided they are related to the curricular disciplines.
  • The student chooses to deepen topics related to the curricular disciplines but not included in the core curriculum programs.
The choice is guided by Tutor-Professors, who will select proposals from various scientific-disciplinary sectors.
These activities lend themselves to innovative teaching methods such as problem-based learning, solving clinical problems through interactive systems.
Longitudinal ADE plans to be developed over the three-year period can be identified and approved by the Course Coordinator based on proposals made by Professors.

The value of the educational credits is determined as follows:

  • Supplementary internship: 1 CFU/16 hours,
  • Monographic courses, seminars, conferences, guided discussions on clinical cases: 1 CFU/8 hours.
