The integrated teaching unit aims to provide the basics of mechanical, functional and dimensional design of mechanical systems.
The main purpose of the integrated teaching unit is to enable students to design a mechanical system. This is done by integrating knowledge of the criteria of choice, sizing, and assembly with those of design and of geometric and dimensional tolerances.

The exam will be contextual to the two modules. For both modules, it is required to pass the relative tests, as illustrated in the relevant course sheets, with a minimum score of 18/30. The final result will be given by the average of the evaluations of the two modules.
