The didactic module is interested with the formation on the use and interpretation of the results of neuroimaging techniques in the field of the main neurological diseases
The student will be able to know the normal and the pathologic results of CT and MRI exams of the central and peripheral nervous system and bone and meningeal related structures. In particular, will be able to know the main neuro-radiologic findings in strokes, cerebral tumors, infective, inflammatory, and degenerative diseases of the nervous system.
Frontal lessons with emblematic case presentation; practice sessions with the aim of enhance professional skills
Any Student with documented Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), or with any special needs, shall reach out to the Lecturer(s) and to the dedicated SLD Representative in the Department before class begins, in order to liase and arrange the specific teaching methods and ensure proper achievement of the learning aims and outcomes.
The teacher explains the main neuro-radiologic techniques and their relevance in the diagnosis and prognosis of neurologic diseases
In addition to the recommended textboooks for the Neurology course the teachers will reccomend bibliographic references to articles relating to the most recent competencies in neuroradiology.

Oral test in the context of the global examination of the I.C. of Neurology with discussion of a clinical case.
The assessment takes place only through the final exam which aims to ensure the effective acquisition by the student of the expected learning outcomes.
The I.C. coordinators will receive the students upon telephonic or electronic-post appointment.
