The course will provide an in-depth general issues of bioethics in which the research actors and health must daily confront with particular regard to the implications that progress can entail for humans. The researcher together with the whole community is called into question the assumption of responsibility for their work.
The course aims to provide the cognitive, methodological and behavioral tools to identify and critically face with the bioethical issues of scientific research.
Frontal lessons. The module includes seminar sessions, complemented with small group activities in the classroom, film views and text readings.
Any Student with documented Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), or with any special needs, should contact the Lecturer(s) and to the dedicated SLD Representative in the Department before class begins, in order to liaise and arrange the specific teaching methods so that the learning aims and outcomes may be met.
