The EU law seminar is devoted to the topic of cross-border parentage and to its regulation within EU law.
The seminar is aimed at providing students with the knowledge on the circulation of the parentage within the EU
The topic of the circulation of child status in the European Union is highly topical and has been analyzed in research projects (of national and European importance) in which researchers from the University of Genoa have been involved. The seminar is an opportunity to disseminate the results of these research projects
The seminar - in English - is organized in conference mode, in which experts from different European countries will participate.
The seminar will consider the following topics: - circolazione dei certificati di nascita
- competent court in the field of parentage
- applicable law
- recognition of decision
- rights of children with regard to parentage
The seminar focuses on topics that are currently the subject of two research projects, involving researchers from the University of Genoa.
