From the viewpoint of Software development, the course aims to provide the student with a specific professional perspective on the design of embedded eletronic system, mostly based on microcontrollers in real-world complex applications. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The course provides technical and professional competencies on the fundamental aspects of design, realization and testing of embedded electronic systems, with particular reference to consumer electronics. Oral exam and lab reports (Module B) ASSESSMENT METHODS A written multiple-choice test addresses the different topics concerned with Module A. An oral examination is scheduled for Module B: moreover, experimental lab sessions concerning the design, simulation and testing of electronic circuits are reported.
