The course aims to deepen the relevant legal institutions in the organization and in the exercise of sport.
A first part, as an introduction, will be used to test knowledge and recall the basics needed to address the specific issues addressed in a second more specialized part, which will address issues related to sports activities, such as the subjects of sport, contracts and liability in sport.
Lectures and simulation of cases drawn from the case law on contracts and civil liability in sports.
Any Student with documented Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), or with any special needs, should contact the Lecturer(s) and to the dedicated SLD Representative in the Department before class begins, in order to liaise and arrange the specific teaching methods so that the learning aims and outcomes may be met.
In the introduction knowledge of the following concepts will be verified: right, legal relationship, legal effects; subjects of law; organizations; contract: definition and classification; liability: functions and assumptions.
In the second more specialized, the following institutions will be analyzed: the subjects of sport; sports contracts; civil liability in the performance of sports activities; few notions on doping and the organization of sports justice.
