The teaching addresses two complementary topics: the management and conservation of marine biodiversity and environmental safety in industrial facilities. It provides essential skills for environmental engineering, ranging from the protection of marine ecosystems to the prevention annd mitigation of environmental and accident risks and the basics of the design of downstream treatment plants. The teaching is divided into two modules of 5 CFU each: ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY TECHNIQUES AND PLANTS and MARINE BIODIVERSITY MANAGEMENT. A detailed description of the contents of each module can be found in the section dedicated to each module description.
No specific prerequisites are needed.
