The student will acquire fundamental knowledge related to the aspects of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics applied to machines operating within energy conversion systems. This will enable the student to approach the study of fluid machines in order to analyze their functional behavior and evaluate the main performance aspects.
At the end of the course, the student will need to acquire a basic knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics applied to machines operating within energy conversion plants. In addition, they will need to acquire the fundamental knowledge necessary for analyzing the functional behavior of machines and evaluating the main performance aspects.
Working students and students with DSA certification, disabilities, or other special educational needs are advised to contact the teacher at the beginning of the course to agree on teaching and examination methods that, while respecting the objectives of the teaching, take into account individual learning methods.

Oral exam.
Students with DSA certification, disabilities, or other special educational needs are advised to contact the teacher at the beginning of the course to agree on teaching and exam methods that, while respecting the objectives of the teaching, take into account individual learning methods.
The exam will aim to assess not only the achievement of an adequate level of knowledge but also the acquisition of analytical and critical reasoning skills, as well as the ability to correlate the various topics addressed. The clarity of the presentation and the correct use of technical terminology will also be evaluated.
