Provide the basic concepts for the main topologies of electrical machines (transformer, DC machine, induction machine and synchronous machine) and for the main topologies of power electronic converters.
The student expected background to fully understand the content of the course is related to the basics of electric circuits, especially three phase AC systems and electromagnetism.
