CODE 111523 ACADEMIC YEAR 2025/2026 CREDITS 12 cfu anno 3 INGEGNERIA CHIMICA E DI PROCESSO 10375 (L-9) - GENOVA TEACHING LOCATION GENOVA MODULES Questo insegnamento è composto da: CHEMICAL REACTORS THEORY OF CHEMICAL PROCESSES DEVELOPMENT OVERVIEW This teaching is divided into two modules: The module "Theory of Chemical Process Development" concerns the development and application of mathematical methods for the analysis, modeling, identification and simulation, including numerical methods, of physicochemical processes of fundamental importance in the processing industry. Subsequently, notions concerning the economic management of such processes are provided, complementing and supplementing the concepts discussed in the first part. In the “Chemical Reactors” module, topics concerning the mathematical modelling and operation of various types of chemical reactors are covered, with reference to ideal and real cases.
