AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The course presents the evolution of Italian philosophy in the 19th and 20th centuries; it will focus on the most recent philosophers, especially on those who conducted the most original philosophical analysis of existential problems. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES The course’s aim is to present the great relevance of contemporary Italian philosophy, especially in relation to themes such as existence and contradiction; themes and problems will be covered in constant dialogue with other fields of knowledge. The student will have to acquire the ability to evaluate meaning of Italian philosophical tradition in the context of European thought. PREREQUISITES Knowledge and passion are required for the Italian, philosophical and cultural tradition.
