They also delve into the analysis and design of CMOS analogue circuits, including the use of professional simulation tools. In summary, the overall course prepares students to work in the microelectronics sector and, in particular, in the development of analogue integrated circuits, combining a solid theoretical foundation with practical technical skills. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES This teaching provides an integrated introduction to solid-state electronic devices and CMOS analog circuit design. It covers the fundamental principles of physics and chemistry underlying semiconductor devices, including their physical structure, operating mechanisms, and modeling approaches. Key devices such as diodes, MOSFETs, BJTs, and power devices are presented through mathematical and equivalent circuit models.
